Cell Pouch for Human Trials

Sernova Corp (Canada) has released the results of the first 2 human trials using the company's cell pouch. The pouch, which is inserted below the skin, is populated by islet cells. Results showed insulin production as well as hormones normally produced in the pancreas. Press release attached.
