Donna O’Malley is the Scholarly Communication Librarian at the University of Vermont where she provides online and in-person consultation and instruction services. Donna supports faculty and students in research publication and impact. She can advise on topics such as author rights, open access, Creative Commons licenses, evaluating publication outlets, and publication metrics.Donna manages the UVM Libraries Institutional Repository, coordinating the growth and development of UVM ScholarWorks. Donna pursues qualitative approaches to research on scholarly communication, including graduate student instruction and methods for facilitating the publishing and sharing of research.
