    …asks Michael Eisen.  Very frank discussions on many aspects of open access from a variety of perspectives.   He goes on "Every major aspect of the traditional journal system scientists use to communicate with each other was developed for a world in which information was disseminated in printed journals. And every single major aspect of this system—the format of papers, the structure of peer review, the subscription-based business model, and even the very existence of journals—has been rendered obsolete by the rise of the Internet."
