These appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to bringing diverse perspectives and expertise to our leadership team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Vice President<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jennifer Miller<\/strong> has been appointed as FORCE11 Vice President. She is an independent scholar advancing open knowledge through a portfolio of projects in open data, open education, and open science. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors in FORCE11 before this appointment, and we look forward to her contribution in advancing FORCE11&#8217;s mission to improve research communication and e-scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Board Members<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are delighted to welcome our new board members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jonathan Grunert<\/strong>, Scholarly Publishing Librarian,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/\"> University at Buffalo<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eunice Mercardo-Lara<\/strong>, Director of Equity &amp; Impact,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.orcaopen.org\/\"> Open Research Community Accelerator (ORCA)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alex Mendon\u00e7a<\/strong>, Online Submission &amp; Preprints Coordinator,<a href=\"https:\/\/scielo.org\/en\/\"> SciELO<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bella Ratmelia<\/strong>, Research &amp; Data Services Librarian,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smu.edu.sg\/\"> Singapore Management University<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of these individuals brings unique expertise and perspectives that will help guide FORCE11&#8217;s strategic initiatives and future growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gratitude to Outgoing Board Members<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our outgoing board members and vice president for their dedicated service to FORCE11.
