Join this LIBSENSE community call and discuss lessons learnt from designing and conducting virtual open access and open science training and community building events in response to the COVID-19 pandemic – both successes and failures. <\/p>\n

We will also discuss:<\/p>\n

Tricks and arguments to change the attitudes to open access \/ research data management \/ open science courses in institutions, integrating open science practices in university curricula – e.g. PhD courses, specific disciplines. <\/p>\n

Building “hard” (formal skills-and-techniques-focused training) and “soft” (person-to-person, communal, ethical, and conceptual) skills in the online training environment<\/p>\n

Resources to improve your open science training, both virtually and in a post-COVID online and in-person world<\/p>\n

Open science skills development through game based learning<\/p>\n

Equitable, sustainable, accessible, and open virtual training platforms and pedagogies <\/p>\n

Networking and knowledge sharing with other open science training organisations, Community of Practice of Open Science Training to build “open and FAIR by default” global research culture<\/p>\n
