The workshops will be held at the OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences Building<\/a>, located at 2730 S.W. Moody Ave., on the west side of the Willamette River and just north of the Ross Island Bridge, in Portland. <\/p>\n

NOTE: On Sunday, April 17, there will be a race in Portland that could affect traffic to and from the CLSB. See more info here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

FORCE2016's Main conference is in the Gerding Theater at the Armory<\/a>, located at 128 NW 11th Avenue<\/strong> in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon, one block north of Powell’s Books, between NW Couch and NW Davis. You can easily walk from here to restaurants, caf\u00e9s, shopping, mass transit and parking. The office can be reached at 503-445-3700.<\/p>\n

I-84 from the East<\/h3>\n

Directions to the Collaborative Life Sciences Building:<\/strong>
\n\tMerge onto I-5 South. Take exit 299A to 43\/Lake Oswego\/Macadam. As you exit, move to the middle lane. Follow the signs to “South Waterfront.” As the road curves to the left, stay to the left. At the light, turn left onto S.W. Macadam. Turn right onto S.W. Curry. Turn left onto Moody Avenue. Turn right on Meade to enter the CLSB parking garage.<\/p>\n

Directions to the Gerding Theater at the Armory:<\/strong>
\n\tFollow I-84 to I-5 North (right lane). Take I-5 N following the St. Helens exit (Exit 302B), stay in the middle lane and follow signs to I-405 South (veer left off bridge). Get in right lane and take next exit NW Everett Street (Exit 2B). Turn left onto NW Everett Street (second stop light off ramp). Turn right onto NW Eleventh Avenue. The Gerding Theater is one block South at NW Davis on your left.<\/p>\n

I-5 From the North<\/h3>\n

\n\tTake exit 299B, a left-side exit (signed “City Center\/S Waterfront”). Bear left again (signed “City Center\/S Waterfront”) as the exit splits. Turn right onto S.W. River Parkway (at the first traffic signal). Turn right onto S.W. Moody. Turn left onto S.W. Meade to enter the CLSB parking garage<\/p>\n

\n\tFollow I-5 north toward Portland. Remain in one of the two left lanes and follow signs to City Center\/Beaverton via I-405N (Exit 299B). Follow I-405N to NW Everett Street (Exit 2B). At top of off ramp, get in rightmost lane and turn right onto NW Everett Street. Turn right onto NW Eleventh Avenue. The Gerding Theater is one block South at NW Davis on your left.<\/p>\n

Highway 26 from the West (Sunset)<\/h3>\n

\n\tPass through the Vista Tunnel and stay in the center lane to exit onto S.W. Market Street. Stay on Market Street. Cross over Naito Parkway onto S.W. Harbor Drive. At the second light, turn left onto S.W. Harrison. Turn right onto S.W. Moody. Turn left onto S.W. Meade to enter the CLSB parking garage.<\/p>\n

\n\tTake 26 to I-405N\/St. Helens\/Seattle (left lane). Exit right at NW Everett Street exit (Exit 2B). At top of off ramp, get in rightmost lane and turn right onto NW Everett Street Turn right onto NW Eleventh Avenue. The Gerding Theater is one block South at NW Davis on your left.<\/p>\n

Highway 26 from the East (Ross Island Bridge) or Highway 99 East (McLoughlin Boulevard)<\/h3>\n

\n\tCross the Ross Island Bridge in center lane, then veer right following signs to City Center. Veer left onto SW Arthur Street. Follow SW Arthur Street through SW Caruthers Street and SW 5th Avenue. Following signs toward the Zoo, veering right over the I-405 overpass (keep in the left lane) and take onramp to I-405N\/Hwy 26. Follow I-405N and exit right at NW Everett Street (Exit 2B). At top of offramp, get in rightmost lane and turn right onto NW Everett Street. Turn right onto NW Eleventh Avenue. The Gerding Theater is one block South at NW Davis on your left.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Parking<\/h2>\n

Parking at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building:<\/strong>
\n\tParking for the Collaborative Life Sciences Building (CLSB) is available in the Schnitzer lot on Sunday and is free. <\/p>\n

Parking at the Gerding Theater at the Armory:<\/strong>
\n\tWhile the cost of parking varies, on-street parking is free after 7 p.m. throughout the week.<\/p>\n

Armory Recommendation: The Brewery Blocks\/Whole Foods Underground Parking Garage is the largest lot in Portland and it is located one block from the Gerding Theater. It’s a well-lit, security-patrolled underground garage that houses 1,300 parking spaces. There are two entrances to this lot: NW Twelfth Avenue or  NW Thirteenth Avenue, between Couch and Davis Streets. The elevators take you into the M Financial Building lobby (just around the corner from the Armory) or into Whole Foods on the corner of Couch and NW Twelfth Avenue.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere are a number of bus routes that serve the South Waterfront, please consult the trimet website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bus to the Gerding Theater at the Armory:<\/strong>
\n\tThe Gerding Theater is located in the heart of the Pearl District on NW Eleventh Avenue and NW Davis Street, just a short walk from most bus lines.<\/p>\n

MAX<\/h3>\n

Max to the Gerding Theater at the Armory:<\/strong>
\n\tFrom the eastbound train, get off at the 9th Avenue\/Library stop. From the westbound train, get off at the Tenth Avenue\/SW Morrison Street stop. Walk to Tenth Avenue and turn right, follow Tenth Avenue to Davis (approx. 6 blocks) and turn right to corner of Eleventh Avenue or Walk to corner of Tenth and Yamhill and board the Portland Streetcar, get off at Couch Street stop and walk to corner of Eleventh Avenue and Davis Street.<\/p>\n

Streetcar<\/h3>\n

Streetcar to the Collaborative Life Sciences Building:<\/strong>
\n\tPortland’s streetcar stops at the corner of S.W. Moody and S.W. Meade, which is across the street and just south of the Collaborative Life Sciences Building. The closest streetcar stop to the downtown transit mall is at S.W. 5th and Market. The streetcar accommodates bikes and wheelchairs. Streetcar schedule and fare information.<\/a><\/p>\n

Streetcar to the Gerding Theater at the Armory:<\/strong>
\n\tThe Armory is also conveniently located directly on the streetcar line. The Portland Streetcar runs on Tenth Avenue (to NW 23rd) and on Eleventh Avenue (to Portland State University) and stops on the corner of NW Couch Street respectively. The entrance to the Gerding Theater is on the corner of NW Eleventh and NW Davis (one block north of Couch).<\/p>\n
