G<em>iven their vocal opposition to the US government&rsquo;s public access mandates on federally funded research,<\/em><\/em><strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p2MzMv-2Q9#author\">Michael Eisen<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><em>is very sceptical of their ability to enable improved access.
