We are currently seeking comments on the draft guide, 'How to Measure the Impact of Research Data'. The abstract for the guide is as follows:<\/p>\n

\t"This guide will help you to measure the impact of research data, whether your own or that of your department\/institution. It provides an overview of the key impact measurement concepts and the services and tools available for measuring impact. After discussing some of the current issues and challenges, it provides some tips on increasing the impact of your own data. This guide should interest researchers and principal investigators working on data-led research, and librarians and administrators working with research quality assessment submissions."<\/p>\n

\tThe guide is 13 pages long as currently laid out and can be found here:  https:\/\/github.com\/alex-ball\/HowTo-DataImpact\/releases\/tag\/r1<\/a><\/p>\n

\tThere are a couple of ways of leaving feedback through the site: <\/p>\n

\t1. Editing (a copy of) the file 'how-to-measure-impact.md' directly and sending a 'pull request'. There is help on how to do this here: https:\/\/help.github.com\/articles\/using-pull-requests\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\t2. Create issues on the issue tracker.<\/p>\n

\tYou can also comment on the pull requests and issues others have raised.<\/p>\n
