Then approach via Parks Road.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the South or South-West <\/strong><br \/>\n\tTake the A34 or A420 to the Botley interchange.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tParking<\/h3>\n<p>Parking is not available at the Mathematical Institute, however the city centre has a range of (expensive) car parking available. The nearest is on-street parking along St Giles, with a number of larger car parks on the other side of the city centre.&nbsp; We highly recommend you use the <a href=\"http:\/\/parkandride.oxfordbus.co.uk\/timetables-fares\/300\"><strong>number 300<\/strong> <strong>Park &amp; Ride<\/strong><\/a> bus from either Redbridge or Peartree, as this stops almost immediately outside the Mathematical Institute.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tTravelling by rail<\/h3>\n<p>The Mathematical Institute is approximately 20 minutes&#039; walk from the&nbsp;railway station.&nbsp;Taxi services are available outside the Station entrance.<\/p>\n<p>For rail travel information ring +44 (0)8457 484950 or visit the&nbsp; <a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalrail.co.uk\/\"> National Rail <\/a> &nbsp;website.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tTravelling by coach<\/h3>\n<p>Express coach services run between Oxford and London (1-1&frac12; hours), London Heathrow, Birmingham and other destinations nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Coach Station at Gloucester Green is approximately 15 minutes&#039; walk from the Oxford e-Research Centre.&nbsp;Alternatively&nbsp;there is also a Taxi rank at Gloucester Green.<\/p>\n<p>For coach travel information contact:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/oxfordbus.co.uk\/\">The Oxford Bus Company <\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stagecoachbus.com\/oxfordshire\/\">Stagecoach, Oxford <\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oxfordtube.com\/\">Oxford Tube <\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalexpress.com\/\">National Express <\/a><\/p>\n<h3>\n\tTravelling by air<\/h3>\n<p>Oxford is conveniently reached by coach from Heathrow Airport (1&frac14; hours) or Gatwick Airport (2&frac12; hours). There is a frequent bus service from Heathrow.
