\n\t#OKCon is the world’s leading open data and open knowledge conference, running since 2005.<\/div>\n

\n\tOur theme for OKCon 2013 is Open Data – Broad, Deep Connected<\/strong><\/span>.<\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tIn the last few years we have seen government open data initiatives grow and become important in areas such as research, culture and international development.<\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tOKCon will explore how open data is not only expanding geographically but also touching new sectors and new areas.<\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tIt will focus on how we can coordinate and strengthen public policy around the world to support a truly global and interconnected ecosystem of open data.<\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tOKCon 2013 is jointly organized by the Open Knowledge Foundation Switzerland (Opendata.ch) and the Open Knowledge Foundation with the support of the Swiss Government and Lift Events as the production partner.<\/div>\n
