C., USA<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"ct_body\">\n<p>The Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) is an organization dedicated to supporting the transformative promise of digital information technology for the advancement of scholarly communication and the enrichment of intellectual productivity. Some 200 institutions representing higher education, publishing, information technology, scholarly and professional organizations, foundations, and libraries and library organizations make up CNI&rsquo;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cni.org\/about-cni\/membership\/members\/\" title=\"Members\">members<\/a>; CNI is entirely funded through membership dues. Semi-annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cni.org\/events\/membership-meetings\/\" title=\"Membership Meetings\">membership meetings<\/a> bring together representatives of CNI&rsquo;s constituencies to discuss ongoing and new projects, and to plan for future initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from CNI <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cni.org\/about-cni\/membership\/members\/\" title=\"Members\">member organizations<\/a> gather twice annually to explore new technologies, content, and applications; to further collaboration; to analyze technology policy issues; and to catalyze the development and deployment of new projects.<strong> Each member organization may send <strong>two representatives<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"ct_field\"><span class=\"ct_default\">http:\/\/www.cni.org\/events\/membership-meetings\/upcoming-meeting\/fall-2012\/<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ct_meta\"><span class=\"ct_label\">Archive:<\/span>&nbsp;<a class=\"ct_archive\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/archive.force11.net\/node\/4220\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/archive.force11.net\/node\/4220<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Date:&nbsp;10th December 2012 Location:&nbsp;Washington, D.
