This is very thorough, thank you. The document recognizes that software comes in many forms (containers, executables, etc.). With this in mind, perhaps including 'type' as a basic metadata requirement (Table 2) is worth considering (if you haven't already)? Another common discussion in both software and data citation is 'granularity'. I would suggest acknowleding this as a potential limitation and giving some advice on how best to cite granular software (the finest grain?). This could be incoporated in either the 'types of software' or 'unique identifiers' discussions.
